Displays & Accessories
All Apple Multiple Scan displays are cross-platform, support multiple
resolutions, and are compatible across the full line of Macintosh and Power
Macintosh systems as well as MS-DOS and Windows–based systems. However,
actual resolutions available are dependent upon the video card/on-board video
included in the host CPU. Certain computer systems may require a display
adapter kit available from Enhance Cable Technology at 800-717-8757. The Mac
IIci, Mac IIsi and Mulitple Scan monitors require an adapter kit from Griffin
Technologies at 615-399-0990. Customers are therefore encouraged to consult an
authorized dealer to ensure that their computer's video card/on-board video
supports the resolution that they want to run. Separate adapter kit's are not
required for systems using newer video architectures such as Power Macintosh,
Macintosh Centris/Quadra or Display Card 24AC. Display adapter kits are
required for use with Macintosh II family, LC, PowerBooks and DuoDocks,
8·24, 8·24GC or 4·8 video cards.
